FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DWAXX is a professional candle wax soak solution developed specifically for the Wedding & Event Industry. Rather than scraping wax from every candle holder by hand, simply dilute DWAXX 1:1 with water, submerge your candle holders and allow the solution to do the work. Designed for businesses using reusable candle holders, DWAXX helps reduce labour while delivering consistent cleaning results across a wide range of glass and ceramic vessels.
Unlike single use cleaning products, one DWAXX working solution is capable of cleaning thousands of candle holders before replacement is required. The lifespan of your working solution will vary depending on the volume of wax being removed, the number of items being cleaned and how heavily the solution is used. Rather than replacing the solution after a set number of candle holders, you'll generally find it naturally tells you when it's nearing the end of its life. As the solution becomes heavily loaded with wax, the cleaning process will gradually slow, indicating its' time to prepare a fresh working solution. Because DWAXX is designed for repeated use, it should be viewed as a long term cleaning system rather than a single use cleaning product.
DWAXX has been extensively tested on ✔️Glass candle holders ✔️Crystal candle holders ✔️Glass Sleeves ✔️Cylinder Vases✔️Ceramic Candle Holders As painted, coated and decorative finishes can vary between manufacturers, we recommend trailing a single item before submerging larger quantities, particularly where finishes have been hand painted.
The ideal quantity depends less on how many candle holders you own and more how quickly you need them back into circulation. Businesses with a high turnover of candle holders often benefit from operating multiple tubs simultaneously, allowing different products to be cleaned at the same time and returned to hire sooner. As an example a Florist with a small hire collection of candles who through wedding season hires out approx 200 candles per week is operating with 80L of DWAXX concentrate (diluted 1:1 to produce 160L of working solution) This comfortably supports their current workflow and allows multiple products to be cleaned simultaneously. Every business is different. Some businesses may choose to purchase additional DWAXX to maximise throughout wedding season, while others may prefer to begin with less and gradually work through their inventory. The faster your inventory can be cleaned and prepared for reuse, the sooner its back out on hire working for your business instead of sitting on the shelf waiting to be cleaned.

DWAXX is highly effective across a wide range of crystal and glass candle holders, glass sleeves, cylinder vases and ceramic products. However not every item will clean at exactly the same rate. Several factors influence how quickly DWAXX will break down including Thickness of the wax build up The type of wax How long the wax has been sitting on the surface. Over time, candle wax becomes more firmly bonded to the surface as it cools, hardens and continues to cure. Because of this, wax that has been left on items for weeks or months will often require a longer soak than freshly used inventory. The good news is that there's no need to remove and start again. Simply leave them in the DWAXX solution for longer and check them periodically. After a few cleaning cycles you'll quickly become familiar with the ideal soak times for your own inventory and workflow. PRO TIP: Business's often find that items cleaned sooner after events require the shortest soak times. Keeping your cleaning cycle up to date helps maximise efficiently and keeps your inventory ready.
Absolutely. If you prefer, you can clean all of your holders, sleeves, cylinder vases and ceramics in a single DWAXX tub. However businesses with larger inventories often find it more efficient to operate multiple tubs dedicated to different product types. For example Candle Holders Sleeves Cylinders This makes loading and unloading quicker, helps you organise your workflow and reduces unnecessary handling of different items. Ultimately, the best set up depends on your inventory, cleaning volume and the way your business operates. DWAXX is designed to be flexible, allowing you to build a system that works best for you.
